The role is responsible for keeping an accurate stock system as well as maintaining a tidy, clean and safe Warehouse environment.  You will have experience in the majority of the bulleted job role points and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of any that you have not.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing stock intake & dispatch.
  • Shipping (preparing the delivery note and packaging items for dispatch).
  • Maintain oversight of all stock parts and manage all stock movements
  • Locating stock accurately and efficiently.
  • To be responsible for the goods in / out / stores area to comply with Health and Safety, Insurance requirements, and to generally maintain it in a tidy and orderly way.
  • To kit for all manufacturing jobs as instructed by the Production Resource Manager.
  • To issue stock parts to the workshop as required and to update the system accordingly. 
  • To complete regular stock checks weekly and quarterly as required.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies.
  • Proactively operate ERP to avoid issues and maintain accurate records. 
  • Ideally, you will have a current Forklift Counterbalance Competence, if not you will be required to undertake training as the role will involve the use of a forklift for both loading and unloading and storage on high racking.

You have a keen eye for detail, a strong drive for accuracy, and a passion for order and problem-solving. While qualifications are a plus, we value proven experience.

Details – This is a full-time permanent position. The hours of work are 8.00 am until 4.00 pm with a half-hour break for lunch (37 1⁄2 hours per week). We offer 28 days, plus bank holidays, of paid holiday per year. Upon successfully completing the probation period, the employee will be enrolled in the company pension scheme and will also have the option to join the company healthcare scheme.
